Fur*min*ator

Unsere Katze ist der beste Indikator für Wettervorhersagen. Wenn es Frühling und warm wird, stellt sie sich auf den Badewannenrand und miaut in Richtung Schrank, wo o.g. Gerät verstaut ist.
Dann legt sie sich flach und genießt, dass man ihr überflüssiges Unterfell entfernt, das sie ansonsten mit Zunge und Zähnen aus ihrer Behaarung klaubt, schluckt und als Gewölle wieder ausspuckt.
Heute früh kämmte ich ihr in einer Minute dieses Büschel heraus, zu dem ich als Vergleichsgröße den Strickkalender gestellt habe. Zusammengeknüllt kann ich damit eine Katzenspielmaus fest befüllen. Diese Prozedur können wir nun täglich bis Mai durchführen.
Ich gehöre nicht zur Spinnfraktion, sonst hätte ich mir von dem Garn in all den Jahren längstens ein Kleidungsstück zusammen kämmen können.
Wer genauer sehen will, wie das Gerät ausschaut, nutzt einfach eine herkömmliche Suchmaschine und kann auch bei Youtube mannigfach beobachten, wie der Kamm verwendet wird. Faszinierend.

Our cat is the best indicator for weather forecasts. She jumps on the edge of the bathtub and meows towards the closet where the named device is stowed. Then she enjoys combing off her undercoat, which she otherwise picks with tongue and teeth from her fur, swallows and spits it out  as pellets.
This morning I combed out in a minute that bunch of fur, to which I have put the knitting calendar as a comparison for dimension. Scrunched up you can stuff a knitted cat-toy-mouse. This procedure we can now perform daily until May.

I do not belong to the spinning fraction, otherwise I would have already combed out the amount of hair to spin the yarn for a complete garment.
